1. KEEP IT SIMPLE
Less- expensive stores don’t always do complicated shapes and patterns well. Stick to classic cuts with movement, like a fit-and-flare dress or basic prints like stripes
2. PICK LUXE-LOOKING FAUX LEATHER
Shiny faux-leather jackets and bags can seem plastic-y. For a richer look, go more matte with details like perforation, quilting or slight distressing.
3. TRY SUBTLE EMBELLISHMENT
Understated hardware in unique metals like rose gold makes bags and shoes feel refined. With clothes, try smaller beads and stones on the cuff, pocket or hem instead of larger allover accents- if one falls off, it won’t be as obvious.
4. LAYER JEWELRY
Less-expensive necklaces layered together usually make a better statement than one big cheap piece.
