June 1, 2013 10-5pm, you’re invited to attend Atlantic Avenue’s first Wedding Walk with 2 Mock weddings and it’s all free. Join us for a day of bridal planning. Atlantic Avenue has everything you day to make your wedding a beautiful success. To choose which wedding walk you will attend, go to http://www.atlanticavebid.org/happenings/
The Atlantic Avenue Wedding Extravaganza is an all-day event which will feature walking tours and merchant discounts including dozens of the area’s wedding-related shops, salons, and venues, plus two mock wedding ceremonies, a puppy wedding costume contest, live music and more. The day will kick off at 10:00 am with dual brunches at Atlantic Avenue restaurants M.O.B. and Bacchus. Registration for the day’s events will then begin at 11:00 am at Boerum Place between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, a tree-lined brownstone block in Cobble Hill which will be closed off for the Wedding Extravaganza. Starting at noon and continuing until 4:30, a wedding entertainment showcase will fill the block with live music from popular local bands. At 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, couples preparing to tie the knot can take a Wedding Walking Tour which, in just a few blocks’ span, will cover their wedding needs from start to finish and a little bit beyond.
Participants will have a chance to shop for gowns and lingerie, flowers, jewelry, photographers, hair and nail stylists, gift registries, cake bakers, and venues for bachelor and bachelorette parties, the rehearsal dinner, and the reception.
Enter the Sweepstakes by filling out your Wedding Extravaganza Punch Card by getting your card stamped at 5 Atlantic Avenue wedding-related merchants during the day.* Cards will be available at Boerum Place starting at 11am.

Collect at least five stamps on one card by going to five different Wedding Extravaganza businesses and return to the Outdoor Wedding Block Party on Boerum Place by 4:30pm on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Prizes are subject to change at the discretion of the participating businesses. Employees and board members of the Atlantic Avenue District Management Association Inc. (d/b/a the Atlantic Avenue BID), as well as their immediate family members and employees of participating businesses, are not eligible to enter the sweepstakes. The sweepstakes drawing will take place at the end of the Atlantic Avenue Wedding Extravaganza. Check the Atlantic DMA website after June 1, 2013 for information on the sweepstakes drawing. Each card must have at least five stamps in order to be entered into the sweepstakes. Fully stamped cards must be submitted at Boerum Place by 4:30 PM Eastern June 1, 2013 to be eligible for the sweepstakes. Sweepstakes winners will be chosen at random by AADMA and notified by email or phone. Winners must acknowledge their winning by contacting AADMA no later than the close of business on the third business day from the date of notification that they have won a Prize. If a winner does not contact AADMA by such time, AADMA reserves the right to select another winner. AADMA’s decisions are final and binding with respect to this sweepstakes contest in all respects.
Neither AADMA, nor any of its affiliates, make any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the Prizes, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Winner, in accepting his/her prize, consents to the use of his/her name, address (city, state), photograph and likeness for purposes of advertising, trade and promoting in any and all media on behalf of AADMA and/or Atlantic Avenue’s wedding-related merchants, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Prize winners are responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes incurred by the Prizes.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY; A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. Participants need not be present at the sweepstakes drawing to win any Prize(s). Grand Prize is a compilation of gift certificates from participating Atlantic Avenue retailers. A participant’s chances of winning depend, in part, on the number of cards such participant submits and the total number of cards submitted by all participants. Anyone who visits participating businesses to complete a sweepstakes card and returns it to Boerum Place Wedding Block Party before 4pm June 1, 2013 is eligible to participate in this sweepstakes.
This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.
The New York state courts and federal courts situated in New York shall have sole jurisdiction of any controversies or claims arising out of this sweepstakes promotion and the laws of the State of New York shall govern the same. Each sweepstakes participant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and hereby irrevocably submits to the venue of those courts within the county of Kings, New York.
